The Very Hungry Caterpillar Interactive Show Oakland Theatre reviews
Carole King and James Taylor - A Perfect Night
The show was fantastic! Since the early seventies, I've been a fan of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Interactive Show and Carole. Both of them had a lot of energy and sounded as good on Sunday night as they ever have. "Up On The Roof" is one of my favorites, and I enjoyed the combined version that they performed. It was a perfect night. The set-up was excellent. I could see all of the performers on stage, as well as the video screens above, so I had my choice of what to watch. I was glad to hear Carole play "Song of Long Ago," which she doesn't always include in her concerts. The program guide was money well spent. I have attended several other Carole King or The Very Hungry Caterpillar Interactive Show concerts, but never had I seen them together. This was an opportunity of a lifetime, and I'm so glad I went. "Carolina In My Mind" brings back one of the happiest times in my life. I loved seeing all of the album covers together. It has great pictures and information.
